Bush killed my causin.

Dont say bush didnt directly do anything to 9/11

He is the one who is responsable for his death, so is the taliban.
But without bush i could chill with him again.
Sad

RIP Jos ten Brinke

That makes absolutely no sense... if Bush wasn't the president, 9/11 would of still happened.

Haha yeah okay, whatever. It's also George Bush's fault that Al Qaeda exists right? Wrong.

Blame Bill Clinton. We had Osama in the crosshairs of a UAV once but were too chicken to do it. This was way before 9/11, but he already had his international douchebag reputation, so it would have been cool.

I just love how Europeans just don't understand America that much, though. I'm sorry for your loss but it's not Bush's fault at all.

wow you give bush a ton of credit. He wasnt even in office 6 months and planned this whole thing out without the clinton administration knowing a dam thing.

I keep hearing how stupid bush is.

So which is it?

But I'm not grieving. What happened on 9/11 never came across me as an "omg horrible tragedy" until about 2 years after it happened... and by then it was too late.

You misunderstand Sneaky . "Last 3 n00bs" in the sense that you guys are responding to a person who has gone through a tragedy and has lost a loved one. He is going through the Grief Cycle and is obviously angry at what happened.

IMO, not the right time to refute anything he says. Let him be.

Reading all of these "its the presidents fault" posts all over this forum really gives me a laugh. You people forget that we have three branches of the government to balance the power, not to mention the president doesn't actually have much authority without supervision and approval.

wow you uptight snob, the guy is feeling the loss of his cousin and is now pissed off at why it has happened and is finding a scapegoat to blame as it happens with many victims. Now is not the time to shove your logic up his ass. That's all I am saying.

You act as if I haven't had anybody I know die. Not that it's important, and I'm not saying this to gain sympathy, but my grandma died unexpectedly yesterday. Did I start blaming someone? Not really. I mean, my grandma had been given a new med the other night that made her sick, and I got angry that it could have been the meds. However, once I found out the C.O.D., I wasn't blaming anybody or anything.

I did yell at God for not existing, though, but that's been a personal struggle for me for the past few months, anyway.

He had his own topic to grieve in. I've had people I know die, this doesn't mean I look for a scapegoat. That's why society's as fucked up as it is- People look for a scapegoat when problems arise. Also, wait, is his cousin American? Last I checked, renalpha isn't American... So, blaming Bush is even MORE retarded.

Well, he's blaming Bush for starting the war in Afghanistan which the Dutch followed, thus resulting in his cousin's eventual death.

However, even Ron Paul supported going to war in Afghanistan because it was a defensive war, and not preemptive like Bush's war in Iraq.

Someone deleted my post that I made way before cheeses but I basically said the same thing.

Directed @Pawky:

"Why don't you just fuck off, huh? That's cool, he's grieving. I can understand that, loss of a family member is a terrible thing. But no way in hell does that mean nobody is allowed to correct him or dispute anything he says."

Seriously though. Stop trying to be the moral superhero and just shove it, you're acting like a retard calling people uptight snobs for arguing in the argument section of the forum.

A lot of people died then, and it was pretty sad.

But I did a bit of research, and came up with this:
There are about 2,975 US fatalities in 9/11, excluding the 19 hijackers.
There are over 151,000 civilian casualties in the War on Terrorism in Iraq alone.

If you do the math, pretty much for every US civilian who died that day, about 50 Iraqi civilians die in return.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

The number of Iraqi civilian deaths is in dispute; according to the Lancet in July 2006, an estimated 601,000 Iraqi civilians had been killed. That number was largely viewed as accurate by many news and even military sources, and that was two years ago.

So if the estimate was wrong, and 600,000 Iraqi civilians had been as of TODAY, that's still about 200 per American killed on 9/11.

RIP 9/11 victims

Proportionality has always been a crucial part of Christian Just War Theory, and it is clear that the Iraq War has torn the doctrine of jus ad bellum to shreds.
