I am getting really pissed off here. My intergated sound card didnt work, so i bought a new one, a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi 7.1. I installed everything, Uninstalled the old sound drivers. Before I have the new sound card it said this and now it still says it on teamspeak even after i installed my new shit.

If you cant read the error, this is what it says when I first open Teamspeak.

TDSoundOut.Open(DirectSoundCreate): No sound driver is available for use.


It said that with my intergrated sound and now says it with my new sound device. Please help me out here. I am running Vista.

Did you turn off your onboard sound via the BIOS? If not, your computer will continue to try and use the onboard and now that you've uninstalled the drivers your computer is confused with what it should be doing.

I looked for it in the BIOS but I couldn't find it. The only thing I see in the intergrated section in the BIOS resembling sound is Azailia Codec. should i see what happens if I disable that?

I disabled the Azailia Codec and it didn't fix anything. Seriously...this is getting me mad.

Wow ok now I can at least hear, but my fucking mic wont pick anything up now. I have push to talk set and when I hit Ctrl like it doesnt show I am trying to talk wtf? It wont' even light up. Voice activation does not work either.

Either the volume is set too low, or the microphone is crap. The X-Fi series is *very* picky about microphones and almost any problem with the mic will get you no sound from it.

you man you plug your mic in then nothing happens? mine said audio jack inserted then does not send the audio to head phones built i fixed it easily

That card has had a numerous of shit load bugs with Vista (apparently), Creative aren't so good with coding Vista Drivers..

in my opinion.. You should get back on XP and wait till everything you use on your pc works fine with Vista, hardware and software wise.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

I've had no problems with my X-Fi card but then again I am using XP.

Kinda like me and XP with ATi drivers, many people bitch that they suck, never had any problems here myself though. Big Ups

My ATI drivers have crashed only once. Vista x64 also.
