For people who don't follow:
FQDN = Fully Qualified Domain Name
TLD = Top Level Domain
example.com is a FQDN
.com is a TLD
Domain registars sell FQDN's to us. Buying your own TLD for personal use is highly unlikely unless you're rich.

A minimum of respect for other people's choices in life, even the weird ones, seems reasonable enough to me. Hey, I'm not saying he can't do as he pleases. I just think that for every action you take, there is going to be people disagreeing with it, and some loud about it. Quite frankly, I'm tired of all of this "tolerance" bullshit. Mostly because nobody is ever as tolerant as they profess. You guys are more than willing to profess "tolerance" for his lifestyle, but then when I make fun of it, I get 10 people jumping down my throat because I was being a complete asshole about it. Well, there went that idea of tolerance.
Could I have been more tactful? Absolutely. Is this the real world where my words actually fucking matter? Absolutely not. Seriously, people, get over it. We've all been more of an asshole than we should have been at some point.

You know, it's one thing if information about someone's personal life was accidentally released. I would respect the person because they weren't trying to be all, "THIS IS WHO I AM, AND YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT ME" about it. However, it's another thing when the person makes their lifestyle public, and then gets upset when it's not well-received. If anything, that is as childish if not more childish than my attacks. Whenever you open your fucking mouth (or press the submit button on a public forum), you're taking the risk of getting a backlash from it.
You don't see me bitching about this backlash that I'm getting, do you? Of course, you don't because I expect to get people all pissy every time I post, whether or not I intend for it to be controversial and aggravating.
I have no problem accepting the fact that people do things and live lifestyles that I completely and utterly disagree with. While I may not like it, and I'd almost wish that there wasn't such diversity among people, I respect the fact that people are different. I don't respect certain lifestyles, as I see them as nonsensical choices that have no rational basis to them, but I don't try to stop them from being that way.
I have a problem with flamboyance, as I made clear already. If you don't want to be controversial or to have people disagree with how you are, shut the fuck up. It's funny how so many people think they're entitled to people's acceptance when they don't respect others' views, as well.
