In my opinion there are similirites that came from many diffrent places. Like there are only a few (like 4) specises in the world that has sex for more than reproduction, as in for fun. Humans and dolphins are one of them. Also we did most likely ivolve from a water organisim because of what SSADMVR said earlier about the webed toes and fins. Apes don't have fins and such. So where did we get thoes. [I was refering to the humanoid species we were before we evolved]

Can we stay one topic por favor? Please.

Did you just ask yourself to stay on topic?

This is what I think. I think we used to live on another planet. The species was dying, so sent out genetic information on micro organisms on meteorites across space. The information was implanted into Earth. Fish came from that code, then evolved into land-amphibious animals, then into land animals, then humans developed later from that.

So it was Humans -> Micro Organisms -> Humans.

Now where the original Humans evolved from could of been different, so I didn't go that far back. Smile

That is almost exactly what I believe, except for some minor details.

I believe that unknown aliens came to earth and left behind species that were similar to apes. Some of them evolved into humans and some into apes.

Then later, the aliens came back and were worshiped by Egyptians, who build Pyramids as a landing spots for for their gods/aliens, but they left again, never to return.
And no, I came up with this theory long before I watched the Planet of the Apes remake(which was a horrible movie compared to the original), but the movie Stargate did influence me a bit.

As for the not evolving, I guess some of the ape like creatures did not evolve enough, mostly mentally, and they are still among us to this day.

Examples: Jack Thompson, Paris Hilton, George W. Bush, and so on...

I hope that you are being completely insincere with your theory. That's more ridiculous than a Creationist's claim that the universe was created in 6 days. Why not just believe that a pink unicorn shit out the universe?

We will eventually have all this figured out.

EDIT:

August and September of this year will be crucial for Science. By early-mid 2009, we would have enough evidence to know whether parallel dimensions exist. It helps to follow what the scientific community is upto.

I read somewhere that the chances of a mutation being an advantage to a species and then carrying on in the species is greater than the amount of living creatures on earth... which pretty much means evolution is impossible Big Grin

Well considering I am one, and the evolution gang here is resorting to sarchastic ad hominem rather than intelligent debate I guess that means that by your logic we're actually de-volving.

God made the heavens and the earth. Don't know how, when, why and what else is out there but the cosmos' intricacies are perfectly in alignment and balance and the miracle of life and its myriad intricacies have occurred.

Label me as you will.

Not if you have 3 billion years (and btw there are gazillions of creatures since you also need to count bacteria's).

A good overview of the entire LHC project can be found here at the official CERN site:
http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/LHC/LHC-en.html

The links on the left contain useful information. The experiment to find the possibility of extra dimensions is called ATLAS.
http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/LHC/ATLAS-en.html

The ATLAS people released this video as well. Nothing is proven and firm right now...but it may not or may change in a couple month and years. All we have now is theories and speculation but maybe not for long?
