BrenBot Not Showing In Game. [message #327660]

Recruit

Ok I Got BrenBot Installed And Everything. And I Go On To My mIRC. And im able to type !help to see the commands and everything but when i go in to game. i see nothing. no msgs are showing, no announcements no anything. its not logging me in as admin or anything. i know i dont need renguard to play on a brenbot server. because i play on the Roleplay2 server and i can use brenbot there can anyone help me out???

I Also Have A Pic Of It Saying Warning Cant connect to WOL OR GSA Gamplay_Settings or some stuff. but i have it set for wol what do i do??????

I Believe So. its saying WARNING: No WOL Or GSA Gameportfound in server.ini!

And when i head to C:westwood/renegadefds/server and i go in to the .ini file it says

; GameType =

Sorry to say but it isn't that easy the port needs to be configured:

Port = 0

Make sure that is either set to a 4 digit number or just leave it as 0.

And same for GameSpyGamePort make sure it is either a 4 digit number(a different one) or leave it as 0.

Try the above and see if it works.

W00t Ok Im Not Getting The Cannot Connect To Wol or GSA But Nothing Is Showing In-Game. What about that?

Did u set the same port in brenbot.cfg ? Did u read the readme.txt for brenbot?

Ah opps lol thanks Goztow forgot about that part.

Also make sure AllowRemoteAdmin is set to True.

And set RemoteAdminPassword to some password of choice and make sure RemoteAdminPort is set to a 4 digit number(again a different one) and not 0.

And finally make sure you set the above in BrenBot.cfg to the same you have in Server.ini(reading the readme would help greatly also).

I Got BRenbot working now. And I Have Everything Done. Thanck You For The Help. Just One Question How do i set my self as admin on my server.

In moderators.cfg add your Renegade nick under [ADMINS] and I would strongly recommend reading the readme especially this part of it.
