A dutch CSI named "Peter R. De vries"
Has announced that he has solved the Natalie Holloway case.

I wonder whether this is really the breakthrough and that they will be able to find the body.
I seriously hope this is the breaktrough as people like Dr.Phil were bashing The Dutch..

It wouldnt suprise me if he did figure it out..
since he did alot of famous dutch case.
Would be nice if he could solve the madeline case next. Though I doubt it as Peter R de vries will be swimming in money (litterly) after he got all the rights. CNN, ABC bought.

Everyone cares because the case has been in the media spotlight since 2005. You keep a story in the media for long enough and soon it will be ingrained into society's collective memory.

When people think of ship sinking, the first ship that comes to mind in the Titanic. There a reason for that; the Titanic story has nver completely faded from the media spotlight and hence, it will be harder for society to forget it.

The same is the case with Holloway's case. When media coverage stops, nobody would give a flying fuck.
