As much of a Republican I am, I think the Democrats will blow away the Republicans, no matter which Democrat wins.

Obviously, it won't be Ron Paul at the helm, but I still feel that Clinton doesn't have a chance against the Republicans, even if it's Ron Paul.

Foreigners shouldn't shut the fuck up about American politics, seeing as America is the most powerful country in the world and therefore will usually influence many foreign countries in one way or another.

You people, living in North America, live in different conditions to us. Lots of stuff that happenes where you are, is "weird shit" to us. The way we see it(I probably speak for a lot of people here, but not all) is that America is in the shits, we hear of mass murderings every few months, people in your own countries are making documentaries about the *situation* of America ATM, and they provide good points. You live in a false sence of freedom (not Canada) which is run by a 4 year term dictator. I know you have govorners to do this,that and the other, but he's the man in charge, amrite?

Well, I'm stoked about Guiliani giving his backing to McCain. I watched their speech just a moment ago, and I can say that I'm looking forward to the two of them putting the screws to Huckabee, and to the "social-conservatives" in general. After all, McCain was often regarded as the conservatives' nightmare... and Guiliani was their worst nightmare.
Already, polls have come out saying that McCain actually enjoys a decent lead above both Hilary and Obama in terms of 'electability' , and I think that's due to his being able to straddle political boundaries in that he is moderate, and well like by many Democrats, and Republicans.
Pundits are mixed about whether it'll be a McCain-Guiliani ticket, and although I have a feeling it won't perpetuate, this campaign has shown that anything can happen; that'd be one awesome team for the White House.

America is a huge country, with some very large cities, so yeah there is bound to be crime and there will be mass murderings world-wide until the human race evolves and we have a worldwide utopian society (don't hold your breath).

Michael Moore is not "people". He is one guy whose goal is to make American govt look bad. He has made some valid points, but he has also made a big deal about a lot of nothing. Does he do it because he cares, or to rile people up to pay to see his movies? Either way you are getting a very narrow-minded view of things, so you shouldn't accept everything you see/hear from the "media" and shockumentary guys as fact.

First off. "LOL". I find it amazing that so many people think that our President is an insane power monger with his finger on the button, and we are all slaves to his whims. Let me explain this in a very basic way...the president is little more than a figurehead. He doesn't personally draft up laws, he doesn't personally "run the country". He has panels of advisors, boards, congress, etc, (who are elected by the people), that do all of that, and he pretty much just oversees and makes final decisions. For the other folks who want to jump in and correct me...remember that I am explaining this in the most basic terms, so while it is technically "inaccurate", it should make sense to someone who obviously has no idea how our govt works, and is a lot better than the general foreigners thinking that we live in a dictatorship and the president could roll out of bed and hit a switch to launch nukes if he wanted to

I'd like to see your numbers on that. If as you say, more people voted for him than "anyone else", and "practically nobody" voted for mccain, how is mccain so far in the lead?
Sounds like yet another example of foreigners not understanding how the US govt works but will gladly speak out about what's wrong with it, meanwhile repeating only things they have heard from their local "media".

I don't think Ron Paul has a 'Rightful Place' at all. He was unpopular with voters; he may have had some good points, but he was way over-hyped by college students, and anti-establishment types.
Plus, if this "vote tampering" happened, McCain would not be the front runner either, simply because many powerful people in the Republican party are very scared of the guy.
Obama is not going to be assassinated. Christ, some of his positions on foreign policy would make George Bush blush.
