Hi
Recently i have seen people throwing multiple c4 mainly timed at a super fast speed??? I asked them if it was a bug and they told me no.
I seen people using this for what was called flaming sbh and i think apc. And as far as i know this was not a intended function for the game. So if its not a bug can someone plzz tell me how to do it???

Well the rapid throw of c4 if it was fast and without refilling would be cheating but if it was simply throw on someone and refill then continue that is not cheating, putting c4 on team mates is considered to be team hampering and noobish unless the person you put c4 on is the enemy.
If it was noobstories that would make sense there quite a few noobs there.

The map was Field and the sbh would have alot of c4 on them going off. But the people doing it were regulars to the server but i wont name names.
I could deal with it if it were a acceptable tactic but. I have seen someone throw multiple c4 like that. And throwing it that fast was not intended at all.
Hell one time maybe like 3 or 4 days ago we was playing a map. And nod had most of our building destroyed but the WF. And one of the players on our team i don't remember who wanted the map to end.
So to stop people from repairing the wf he used the c4 thing to cover the MCT.
Before i forget can someone plzz move this topic to the renegade forums i posted in wrong one.

It's not cheating. It could be seen as bug abuse, though, if really wanted.
By doing a certain key combo, u can enter the PT while looking away from it. Then you can do 'E' - '5' - 'left mouse button' very quickly and u'll refill and throw c4 very quickly.
For flaming apc u don't really need this anyway, u can just as well throw some c4's on there normally.

I tried what Giztow said i probably didn't do it right but i get the gist of it.
If this is what they are doing it doesnt speed the throwing speed up. What i watched people do in the past is a lot faster. They would stand by a pt and a steady super fast stream of c4 would shoot out.
If they are just doing refilling fast, and not increasing the c4 throwing speed. Then that isn't to bad i guess not like i could do anything about it anyways lol.

Some people can just do it very fast... Maybe they have some kind of small macro for it as well. Compare it to a mouse button which u can configure to do a keystroke. Every time u hit that button, it does E-5-<shoot> . Not saying they are using this, just saying it's technically possible.

I'm sure you can make a macro and use a special mouse/controller. But there is a limit to how fast you can throw c4 no matter how quick you are.
And i have seen people literally throw what looked like 15 or more in about a second.
Unless you people know how to speed the c4 throwing speed...

Yeah i tried this and its true that i can refill very fast. But i still can't throw as fast as i can refill. There is like a 2 second wait before i can throw c4 again.
I don't know how people can throw c4 that fast without using some bug or hack.
