ok i installed scripts 3.4.4 and my game kept crashing when loading the game. so i uninstalled in reinstalled have not put any thing back in my data folder except my maps and skins but now when i load renegade i can hear music but the screen is black i followed the reinstall link on this site so im not sure what is wrong any help will be grateful

If shaders.dll and d3d8.dll are in your renegade folder delete them, if not then may I ask is your computer new or fairly old?

i installed scripts 3.4.4 and now my loading screen has the pics from cp 1 cause i had 2 reinstall the cp's if they can be removed somehow ty and when the bar reaches the end it crashes and returns 2 my desktop any help will be appreciated sorry for incovenience

Well the stand-alone version needs the 1.037 Patch > http://game-maps.net/index.php?action=file&id=402
The First Decade doesn't.

EDIT: You could also try the 2.9.2 scripts(http://game-maps.net/index.php?action=file&id=603) but I would suggest doing a clean install before installing the patch and scripts.

I know that this is a bump,

But I am having the same problem (when I'm loading a game it gets close to the end and crashes) I am running The First Decade, which has the latest Renegade Patch, I have CP2 installed and thats it, I don't have anything else installed, except 4 some skins, but I heard that doesn't make a difference.

Its sort of like a copy of a CD/DVD, but then as a file instead of another CD/DVD Thumbs Up

Oh and you'll need some sort of mounting program to mount the isos, I recommend MagicDisc.
