Ryu meant the wobble effect that starts at 31 seconds into the video. The wobble effect tries to recreate the heated air exhaust from the UFO.
It's a pretty impressive video but could have been better. The movement of the trees got repetitive after a few seconds in the first scene. Sound effects were the best and most realistic.

The only "cheesy" part I saw was the lightning. The entire thing though was better quality than some sci-fi movies I have seen.

That was what I noticed as well. I just thought the waves was him trying to make it looking like he was getting interferance.
