Well I got a home webserver up and running, got php, apache, and mysql all setup and going good, but now a question:

1)If I have more than 1 thing that need a mysql database, do I make another one? Or can I use 1 universal database?

2)How do I lookup the name of my database, all the accounts/passwords associated with it, like the things I need are :

username (root?)
password
database name
host (localhost?)

one database per application.

I.E: if you want to install 2 forums, each forum must have there own database.

not sure about the second one.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

I see, thanks. But, how do you get a 2nd instance running for a 2nd database? Huh Im guessing not using that config editor it comes with, becomes it only edits your current setup? Do you re-run the installer, and just install into a different directory or?

Wow, after 349948 websites, I managed to figuire out how to make another database.

The question is still, how do you make another user for a mysql database? Huh
