Whenever I turn on the computer and get right before the XP Welcome screen, my Monitor loses connection for a few seconds, then it detects it. And also, my Windows Media Player seems to not work, is it related to my Video Card?

Specs:

Radeon Omega Drivers: Version 3.8.421
Sapphire X1650 Pro 256MB DDR2
Pentium D 905 3GHz 2x1MB L2 Cache.
2GB PC3200 DDR RAM
250GB 7200RPM SATA HDD
X200/300 ATI Chipset

Thanks in advance.

The loosing connection for a few seconds is most probably where windows is applying the new resolution/refresh rate settings.

Define 'My WMP wont work'.

I'm upgrading to a new WMP, so it might fix it. But, I mean when I click ANY WMA file, be it MP3, AVI etc, Media Player just doesn't load.

If you try and play an audio file and WMP doesn't load then its not a Video card problem. Sounds like your WMP is just broke. Why you using WMP anyways?

Upgrading should fix this problem.

It did, I upgraded to WMP 10. WMP 11 says I have to do a Rollup 2 Upgrade for my MCE 2005 or something. Anyways, thanks Cove.

That sounds more like a file association problem than an actual error within WMP, as upgrading would reset the file association.

His problem has been fixed. There was no 'bug' on his video card.
