A few random BR commands [message #297293]

I have noticed that with the upgrade to BR 1.52 alot of commands have been added, and some background functionality.

I was wondering if someone could explain the !give command.

I can do the command but nothing happens. The funny thing is I cannot find that command in any of our plugins or the commands.xml file. The command just exists it seem, or I am blantly wrong.

Another command, !refund, is really neat. Though how excatly do the refund that I get randomly ingame work?

Is there a timelimit between character purchases and I get half back before the timelimit ends?

Also I am familar with the !bmute command from being a mod on the n00bstories server, but how does it work now. So far it hasn't worked. Or at least there is no message to indicate it has done what it was supposed to do.

I am sure there are more commands but these are all I can remember for now.

The commands you are talking about are all part of brenbot.dll, and are not actually controlled by BRenBot. Hex would be the best person to ask about those. Thumbs Up

See the command does display a text message in the all chat but no money is ever transfered.

But on the other !Refund does work.

My interest is more in where the heck are some of commands contained as they are not in the brenbot.xml commands file.

maybe !give did not get done and instead !refund got what !give should have?

I have never added a !give command, the !refund command gives/takes credits frm a player, its located in BRenBot.xml not Commands.xml

Thanks for replying.

Alright good to know that you are not behind the !give command, but I can guarantee it does something on my server with BR 1.52 installed. The main problem is that the command exists but I cannot find it in any of the xml files. It seems to be hidden very well.

You explained briefly how the !refund command works, but can you further explain why/how we are given refunds when purchasing new characters.

DP: DO you know anything about the !bmute or !ballow command? I've used them before on n00bstories but they don't work so far with this BR install. Not at least so far they don't.

The ingame 50% refund system is if you already have a character and you change to a new character, !bmute and !ballow blocks and allows players buying beacons
