Someone is going to come along to this topic and say i shouldn't run an FDS bla bla. Please don't. If you don't wnat to give me answers don't post.

I've seen videos on Renhelp that show ren starting up when the dos window for the FDS stops chugging away but Renegade doesnn't start for me. I can't start the the normal game while the FDS is running.

EDIT: Now it just restarts when I log on to XWIS

Replace ur server.dat with the one below and get rid of the +multi
I find just replacing the server.dat with this one works better than the multi thing and like goztow said the nick for the server has to be different from the one u use to play on it.

Roll Eyes yea but then u have to tell them what it is and ppl that aren't very good with finding stuff will ask where is it, the main basic use i notice for that really is that it lets u run renegade and server at same time without restarting server to run renegade.

Hmm, perhaps, but else we as blackintel have them complaining that it doesn't work, while they didn't read the (important) notices.
