Regionally they're really diverse, like kytten(hello) said back there - the UK is probably one of the most diverse places accent-wise in the world.

I dunno about that. America has the hick accent, the normal sounding accent, the northerly accent, the hispanic trying to speak english accent, the asian trying to speak english accent, and then the way the african americans speak it.

England has: North, South, East, West and Central accents all of which sound completely different from town to town (and we have a lotta towns) and then any combination you can think of, of the above accents (trying to) be spoken to by someone foreign like Asians-trying to speak English, Oriental's trying to speak English, and any European person from the EU who was moved here trying to speak English (and that includes 28 different countries) and Oh yeah, we have black people here too, but we don't call them African-English! They're black and most of them get insulted by any other label.... So on the note....We win!
You have a God given right to be stupid. Please do not abuse this right!
