Registering a nick on XWIS for Renegade and other C&C games is very easy. Here's how to register on XWIS with Renegade:
* Open Renegade.
* Click Multiplayer Online.
* click westwood online
* Click Advanced Game Listings.
* Type the nickname and password you want to register in this window. Password needs to be 8 characters long, Check welcome screen when you login to see if it accepted that user name
Press OK.
If the server listings appear blank then the nickname has already been taken, so you should logout and try another one. Continue doing this until you see the server list, which means the name was not taken, and is now registered to you.

To change the password for all nicks registered on your serial:
- Start renegade
- Log on xwis with the nick you want to reset the password for, using a bad password, you now should see an empty server listing
- Go to "chat" in the left side menu, this one should be empty as well
- Now type reset password in the channel you are
- You will receive a message from xwis with a new password for the account you tried to login with (condition: it needs to be registered on your serial)
- Done

* Your nicknames registered to your serial can be reset by hitting on 'Test'
* Select the 'Reset Password' box
* Hit 'Ok'
* Some text will now appear in the box below, with your new password alongside each or your nicknames
Obviously this will only work with nicknames on your own serial.
To delete accounts elder than 32 days, click here. There's no way to 'undelete' nicknames.
To find out which nicks are registered to your serial, log in with one of your nicknames, go to a chatroom and type "/nicks".
