Hello, I am Mayor Fred of the gorgeous port city of Hamilton. I am not sure exactly what all of this controversy is about, but I love my city dearly and I loathe seeing her slandered by a sadly misinformed neighbour from the federally-funded capital region of Ottawa. (I have visited Ottawa many a time and I must say that it has a fine war museum!)
While it is true that poverty exists in Hamilton, and in many other cities within our great nation, I would also ask you to consider what Hamilton has to offer to your family, Mister Trooper M. 02, if you ever have the misfortune of reproducing.
Hamilton has a bustling economy and a large number of employment opportunities in the steel and manufacturing industries.
My city is home to the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, the Bruce Trail, good old McMaster University, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (go Ti-Cats!). Hamilton also possesses a fine public library system, an unmatched farmer's market, and a thriving arts district.
So, I hope that you will consider our lively city in a new, positive light the next time you are engaging in these seemingly pointless debates over the internet.

Dear Mr. Hamilton Mayor, (aka mr.anigaylover on diff nick),
I can not belive you answer the phone to a guy who said, "help me there calling us po0r!", registered on these forums and etc just to say that. Well, im sorry to inform you, you are dead wrong. On a family vacation to TO, we rolled thro your shithole of a city, and due to the fact of the deep SMOG and pollutants in the air, my you younger brother has developed a cough due to his sinus infection. Im glad you like my city, because we are the people that give you your income. And if you really have enough time to post that on a gaming forum, I see why you people are so poor. 
p.s: just imagine what he had to do, that cheeky guy, called the major office, explained what I said to him, and told him how i was giving his city a bad image, ROFFFLMAO
