I'm pretty unbiased when it comes to the leadership here. I don't side with the dissenters, and I don't side with the administration. I wouldn't be a lap dog, and I certainly wouldn't be a "revolutionary".
I wouldn't be a Grammar Nazi, but I wouldn't allow for intentional attention-seeking (troop and his challenges) and intentional stupidity (Viking and his purposely pointless threads).
I would be cutting down on Crimson's allowing for people to be intentionally annoying and stupid, so that may not be wanted by some, but I'd still be far from strict.

Tbh, I dont think moderating position should be picked by the community.
Being a fan-favourite doesn't mean your the best for the job, which I'm sure Crimson has already looked at.
She knows that some of the people on here are decent for the job, but going ahead and picking the person everyone votes for IMO, may not be the best move.
Im not saying I have anything against Oblivion, EWD (Go EWD!)OR any other candidate for this position.
When she wants to make a clear topic for it, I think there should be a few more names amongst them then what Viking has up.
EWD isnt up there, and I'll bet he has a few votes.
I think this race, if it goes down to a community vote-
Will go down to EWD Oblivion, Or J_ball.

If anything I think Crimson should be the one to start the poll, and the one to select the people to be on the pole. The moderator election (if there will be one, mind you) should be as it was when the community elected moderators the last time.

I appreciate your support, but thb, I think that Crimson wouldn't be too happy with me as mod, as in terms of rules which should be applied, we have a totally different opinion.
Of course I would adapt etc. but I think that I wouldn't bee to happy with it, as, as far as I see, there isn't much moderating done, and I would like to have it more strictly moderated.

You sir fail. Not only was it productive by me throwing my vote in for viking but I flamed no one. I in no way derailed the topic because in fact mine was about who should be mod and why I believe that was. I do believe that is what this topic is about.
On the other hand your post had zero to do with the topic and was a completly unneeded flame at me.
