Like Marxism, this idea doesn't work because you can't control a large amount of people.

I wouldn't mind seeing people smarten up and merge their small communities with others or merge small communities into larger ones. Too bad everybody wants to have power.

Just like the countries of the world today...would people accept to dissolve their borders and live under one flag? Hell no! haha!

All on a few servers would be ok, but then the games will get too big (40 player servers are already huge and lagy), but it reminds of the old WOL days when only a few servers were up in the first place, and including the ones hosted by themselves. The thing is, that leaves it to a few people to choose the settings and etc, right now I only frequent maybe like 5 servers because the rest have admins who pick out and enforce the stupiddest rules, maps, and settings Huh

A few?

There was alot more servers then there is now, dont forget that ASIA, USA, Euro were seperate.

You could just scroll trough the USA one, and trough the EURO one..

The only server that had like 3-5 game server was the pacific one.

Anyways, im against it because you would have less to pick. Say I don't like the modified stuff.. If all the big servers would put that trough there would be no place to play. At least there is some choice now.

The only solution is that people who obviously have no traffic at all draw conclusions and stop wasting their money.

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

I was gonna say Communism doesn't work. As you guys listed there are so many problems other than the fact of money/bills and probably like 15 founders, all computer geeks, all ready/having knowledge to screw each other over

[I find this convenient because you don't have to look through about 100 servers and you don't lag when the list loads.

Really ? That's strange, because Renegade APB still has
to load the whole serverlist of the normal Renegade servers in the background.
But it just shows the APB servers in the list.

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

I am all for communities sharing information and source code. I would love to see more working together and sharing from allot of people, instead of whoring.

I find that ironic being you came from a community founded by a whoring dipshit who didn't share anything. Something your group holds pretty much true to even today.

Taking servers in goes very badly. Look at the poor excuse of a server Jelly has become. I'm not saying it isn't possible or we wouldn't/shouldn't do it. I'm just saying it wont be what people expect.

It does seem to be an unfortunate truth that there are more examples of failed community/server "mergers" than successful ones :/
