Everytime I try to install the game I get this

Why? How do I resolve?

Is your CD/DVD drive root C:\ or is this not a strictly... legal installer? I'm sure someone will be willing to lend you a copy of that file.

E: is the CDRW

And yes it is a 'legit' installler; it is reading off the DVD (D:)

Using Vista? Make sure it's running as admin, looks like an access problem.

I stole that text file off someone now it has the same error but for a file MPMaps.big in the same directory, does anyone have this file?

You realise its probably going to give the same error for every single file in the game? The problem is most likely that it is trying to copy the files, failing, and then when it goes to check they are there they don't exist as it didn't copy properly. Make sure your logged on to WinXP in an admin account, installers usually require that ( I know you probably are, but if your not...)

Do you have a CD in your CDRW drive at the same time the C&C3 DVD is in your DVD drive? I've seen a few other game installers that screw up when both drives have a disc in them. I'm not sure if this is one of them, but that's why just to be safe, I took my Renegade disc out of the other drive when installing C&C3, and it installed just fine.

No there isn't a CD in the CDRW drive.. I have no-CD patches for almost everything now.

edit, PS deleted Brenbot registry entries. No avail :\

Why are you saying CC3 sucks, just because your computer sucks (or maybe broken CD)?
