so i got vista and everything is working fine with the running as administrator stuff so ren is great, but my ts is a little off. I can do everything fine when im not ingame, or in IE or another program, but as soon as i go back ingame or in a program then my push to talk does not work. I can use the voice activation ingame and the push to talk when i alt tab out.. any ideas? and dont say just use voice activation i want to fix this.

I'd look under keyboard settings or something, I've had issues like this before, I wouldnt say it's vista that is crap, but some default or something set wrong, maybe even check ts's settings.

Perhaps you never read his post. He said that PUSH TO TALK works but only when he isn't ingame. Which makes his TS settings correct.

Jamie what version of TS are you using with Vista?

ts2 rc2 all i know. ive looked in all the ts settings its all fine. and its not just ren i cant do it while in IE either. so its gotta be the vista right? blocking something..

UPDATE: I just googled this and according to the TS forums if you run TS in admin mode push to talk works properly... it seems that almost EVERY program needs to be run in admin mode to work properly Razz

Probably because most people used Admin accounts in XP, and the software was written for XP. Meh.
