I'm going to get a new computer and I already have C&C 3. My question is for those who have an ATI X1550/ATI X1300 (their almost the same). What is the highest settings that C&C 3 can run on without lag on these cards?

Thanks.

As long as you get a good processor, you'll be able to run Command & Conquer 3 on the highest settings. It doesn't take that much system resources and runs fairly good on low-medium end machines.

That's over qualified.

my brother's CPU is a single core celeron, possibly the worst processor that's still in use. Sad

I can run C&C3 with everything on highest except AA (Level 1) at 1280x1024 with a Sempron64 3400+ and a 7600GT AGP. Very Happy

That's not true: GFX card is important.

I got a intel core duo 1,86 with geforce 7600 and can still only run it on medium without lag. It is a laptop, though.

Playing on high is possible but everything slows down then.

Same processor, but i think the X1550 is lousier. I can run at 1440x900 at around 17 fps.

I run mine with AMD 3400 ~1.8 GHZ
512 memory.

Works fine with me, i get no lag.

Shut up. Nobody cares.

And RAM has a big effect too. I had 512Mb when I first played the demo, and it was accessing the hard drive all the time and being slow, but when I got the extra 1Gb of RAM it made it run smooth as it is now. Very Happy
