after i dowload ren 1.022...
when i go to multiplayer
there stand connection to xxc failed wrong serial number

First off make sure you have Renegade patched. Second you have to have a lagit serial to log onto xwis.

A legitimate serial. That means you didn't use a keygen or anything to get the serial illegally.

Buy the game, read serial off back of game manual...

EDIT: If your using The First Decade pack follow gozy's link to fix the problem, someone *not mentioning names* fecked up the serial fix in the renguard installer so it breaks your serial in the registry Razz
