If Renegade starts asking you for a CD again after installing RG 1.032, then it is probably caused by the fact that it needs the CD to play the intro movies.
You can disable the intro movies by running this file:
http://www.v00d00.org/novids.reg (Click yes when it prompts you)
OR
You can change it manually by going into the registry (Start -> Run -> Regedit) and browsing to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade\Options
There you should see a list of options and one of them is called "SkipAllIntroMovies", right click this, choose Edit and set it to 1.

Yes I can confirm that this fix will solve the problem whereby the game starts up and displays a dialog box asking for the renegade CD (inside the game).

Lol, this registry file was given to people by v00d00 himself to fix this specific problem, I included the manual solution in case anyone wouldn't trust the file, even though you can open it up with notepad or a web browser to see what key it changes...

It's the same as saying to people "download this .bat - file". You can read what it do but that doesn't mean it's harmless. And many don't understand it.
