To edit the boot menu of Linux, look for a text file in:

/boot/grub/menu.lst

run this command:

vi /boot/grub/menu.lst

Have a play about (its pretty straight forward), making sure you ABSOLUTLY BACKUP the original somewhere and then restore it if you break it.

BTW, I managed to get renegade working on Ubuntu 7.0.4 and improved the FPS by tweaking vsync in /etc/xorg.conf.

Still cant get rengaurd working though, I get error 000008 using wine.

Renguard doesn't work under Wine, because it needs an execution wrapper. Anyways, I'm making this post from Ubuntu 7.10. Smile

I'll edit this with details of how well it goes, I'll be installing it shortly.

Renguard is a wonderful initiative

Hmm think it'll work on fedora? I'm taking a class on Linux/Unix right now and we're using fedora. The proff said we are absolutely not allowed to use windows in the lectures or the lab , but we're allowed to do anything else as long as it is in linux ( she even gave the example : If your gonna chat with your friends, use pidgeon to get on your msn account ) ... She absolutely hates games, and never mentioned Wine. Think Reneage would work under wine on Fedora 10 ?
