In my opinion, nobody should be banned because they're deemed to be "annoying". But JohnDoe does constantly break the forum rules by flaming other members all the time, often with zero provocation.
If in doubt about that last bit, just read these two threads in their entirety.

The point whoever said it was trying ot make was that you can't use the reasoning "he's annoying, so ban him" because there are a lot of people are annoying, so if one person is annoying and gets banned for it, it would only be fair that every annoying person gets banned.

Voting to ban someone is retarded, mods are there to unbiased and ban people when they break the rules, not offer people up to the public vote ACK style.
