I run a dedicated server (FDS program) on its own internet connection and its own pc with nightregulator and renstat installed.
I have a home network and use another pc to play on my server and of course i have a 192 ip and the server game says im not using renguard and i know i am Huh any help guys?

Err... only people playing on your server and on your home network would have such an address and you can therefore simply get up and look at their PC. I'd say it's not a problem.

Renguard is a wonderful initiative

And you are even lucky that you are not getting kicked from renguard for LAN-exploit lol Big Grin

As a coder of my own RGSSC, I know that it doesn't work when
the server and the client are having the same external IP adress. sorry :/
Renguard is getting confused when the SSC is running behind a router.

Yes I know you are not exploiting anything. It's just a bug in
Renguard, which hasn't got fixed yet :/
I'm sorry, but Renguard doesn't work over LAN.

You can add your nickname to scc_ignore.txt then it will say you're running renguard.

He is using Night-Regulator, not Brenbot, and adding his nick
to ssc_ignore.txt would just prevent him from getting kicked by Brenbot, it doesn't fake renguard.

Yeah i have put my name on the ignore list and set the reminder period to the maximum 9999.... i had it set at 00 and i got bombarded with the reminders Blush

I think my best solution would be to put my home pc direct on the modem and split the internet connection there to the fds server game, or would that create another problem with renguard?

it would be the same, your computer is being the dhcp server instead of the router.
