Cordless mouse in the house. [message #248825]

I just picked up a cordless mouse and all seemed fine till I loaded renegade, its nearly impossible to aim right as it randomly jumps or dosent respond when im aiming, has any one else played with cordless and if so was there anything you did such as change the sensitivity? Im honestley considering taking it back for a regular optical.

Why does everyone say "Use ze black mouse pad" lol, I can never understand.

OT: Make sure your Mouse is close to your receiver, And possibly use a Black Mouse pad.

Or use a Cord mouse. Smile

Black is less "deflective" therefore the mouse gets the light reflected back into its optical hole.

A light background allows more light to be scattered away from the receiver on the mouse.

As previously mentioned the cordless receiver needs to be almost touching the mouse so as gain maximum sensitivity.

Have you not been killed yet as the battery dies on you?

Get rid of it and get a wired mouse for gaming. Big Ups

I recharge the batteries whenever it says low battery, but it still has at least two hours of power left on it, so I am pretty safe.

Not only are cordless mice ridiculous for gaming, they're heavier than corded mice, and can make mouse movement a little more annoying in games.

My cordless mouse used to die on me like that. Never again.

My mouse has been fine. It's bluetooth not infared or radio waves and i like a bit of weight in the mouse. Makes it feel like i'm actually moving something not just a peice of plastic.

When i got mine it was £120 with a bluetooth keyboard and biometric fingerprint scanner and they haven't failed me yet. Thumbs Up

I had this cordless ball-mice several years ago that worked fantastically, but ever since the mice went optical, the cordless ones SUCKED. I used one for a day or two and decided to use corded again.
