I reckon that's just CNN being CNN. I mean come on, "not ready for an african-american president."

Lets be serious. Besides they tried to smear him and done an entire 15 minute show on how he is a smoker. "Will America vote in a smoker?"

Not that Dick Cheney smokes or anything, or any of the previous presidents.

used and using are two different things. At any rate, it's completely irrelevant if a presidential candidate smokes or not.
