Okay, I'm fed up already. I don't know if this problem has been solved yet. My guess is I'm missing a software or something isn't where it should be like maybe a file. I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'M FED UP.

Can anyone explain to me why does my Renegade Crash when I place scripts 3.0 or any version higher such as 3.1.4 into my Ren folder when I run renegade.

I have every fricken file needed in my ren folder. Still crashes.

Yes I have it. I made sure like 10 times. I have the version I'm suppose to have according to a recent post that you must have Directx 9 update or whatever. I have it all.

On upon loading Renegade, it gives me a black screen then I get that stupid windows message thing that says

"blah blah encountered a problem"

SEND REPORT, DONT SEND

I'm sure yall seen that kind of message before with other programs.

Go back to a older version maybe?

It's as simple as that.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

What is your hardware configuration? Have you tried the scripts installer and only installed the scripts part, and not any of the rest of it, such as the bloom feature?
