Wow, I may be reading your inflections wrong, but you seem a bit hostile towards someone who is trying to help you?

As an RG administrator, I see notices every time you launch renguard that it is auto-updating because the CRC has changed. This can only mean two things:

A. You are trying to hack RenGuard, and are modifying game.exe yourself
B. Your PC has a virus, which is infecting game.exe, most likely along with all your other system files.

Obviously, I assume the problem is B, which is why I sent you the message on the RG network to let you know that your PC may be infected.

You managed to come to these forums and make an account and post your message, so you are surely intelligent enough to understand that what is happening to your game.exe shows every indication that you are infected with a virus, and I am only trying to make you aware so that you can take whatever steps you deem necessary, including not being bothered nonetheless. Personally I'd rather not have a PC full of viruses and spyware, but I guess someone has to keep the spammers and script kiddies in business. Roll Eyes

I would say A. I find his comming to the forums and acting like that, he has something to hide. Surely, if he did have a virus, he would try his best in my opinion to remove it.

I was just saying that this was not bothering me at all. And if you could look at my ranking, it wouldn't be very high. maybe 600-1000?
Besides, nobody can ban without proof.

What the heck are you talking about? Nobody said anything about banning you?? I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT YOUR COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS...if you don't care, then that's your choice, but personally I don't understand why someone would willingly have viruses and spyware on their PC. Shocked If more people gave a damn about their computer being infected, there would be less "zombie" PCs out there for script kiddies to control and perform DOS attacks, spamming, and all the other things they do.

There's newbs that just click on everything and don't even know what a virus is but at least have the decency to follow a advice. There's n00bs this guys a great example who are perfectly aware of what’s going on but are just to arrogant to do something about.

Either that, or A

Well, following his reply I'd go more and more towards A...

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Correct me if I am wrong..

But when I was in my old cheating habbits, I tested out *cheat name removed* in Single player. In windowed mode.

Every second Renguard was open, *cheat name removed* would correct's it's hash. Over and over again.

Maybe that is what is causing the updates? I doubt its a virus.

I know people that infect them self so they can monitor a virus.

But besides the fact, I choose A.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

*cheat name removed* does not alter the physical game.exe on disk, it hacks in memory. The auto-update that happens (what I see happening to him), is when the actual game.exe on disk is changed. RenGuard detects this and forces itself to auto-update (download a correct copy).

So, he is either editing the EXE himself, or he has a virus that is doing it. Most viruses automatically add themselves to the blank space at the end of any .exe and .com files it finds on the disk.

1. Who said this was a poll?
2. If blazer can help me solve this through PM it would be helpful
3. This glitch happened to me WAY back before "that one cheat we all know" was made.
4. Assume all you want, excluding blazer cuz he didn't say "ooo he say that he no care i pick a"

I will say this again, I see your RenGuard client auto-update EVERY time you run it, including today:
[11:16:48] *****6190 is autoupdating the client (Unknown crc 84aa05c5)

The only suggestion I have is to run a virus scanner. You can get one for free via http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
