Serial Number Sticky Not Working [message #234899]

Recruit

I am starting a server for my clan on WOL, so i downloaded FDS (the newest version) and run the setup. I got to the enter your WOL nickname and password and serial number. I don't have a serial number so I saw the sticky and tried to use the 0069 trick but it didnt work. It says Next at the bottom but it wasnt clickable. I entered 0069 followed by 18 random numbers. If it did this wrong please tell me, and tell me how to do it right. Or just if you how i can solve this then just reply. I attached a screenshot of what it looks like, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't it supposed to be 0669 or 0699? (one of the two)

Also, a random serial won't work anymore as XWIS requires a valid serial for servers now. You can use that trick to install it, but then you will have to open server.ini and change the serial to match your Renegade game cd serial key (these are also now valid server serials on XWIS, but you can't use them to install the FDS)

Then i said put your renegade serial in server.ini so xwis lets you're server be created, but the forums messed up and didn't submit it. Sad

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

well i actually got it working. it is 0069, and you do have to change server.ini, but i got a link to a site with valid serials to get through installation in support chat after half an hour.
