do you have any idea how much easier this would be if you could get crimson or blazer to give you the source for the original one? (assuming they still have it)

ok. finally.

i have a very crude version comming out in less than a week
at the moment it will only work, with player 1. and you have to specify the map it is on. also, it will not work online ether because of the way it reads the files.

i have the program working with a text file I have create so i just need to add a few statements to get it to read from gamelog.
i need someone to open help me with the map grafix, so if you want to help. pm me, please! all i need really is to open all the maps in a w3d viewer or something and render a birds eye view of it. all maps need to be taken from the exact same point (z,x and y) otherwise the program won't work.

i have already learnt alot form this. i didn't know at all how to program windows forms .net so all this is new to me. thanks in advanced to anyone willing to help me with the maps.

ok, now that i have more time to explain. im going to use the SBot to parse gamelog because c++ console programming is alot easier than forms c++ .net. there will be a TCP connection between the 2 programs and the SBot will tell Seye where to move the players etc. At the moment i will try to get the all the players moving without working on posistioning just yet(they will just move reletive to each other not the map).

The other reason i decided to use the SBot is because if any other regulation bot reads gamelog it can parse it and send the info to the Seye. for the maps, (so you can have custom maps) there will be a folder called "maps" just put the mapname EG: CnC_Volano.mix would be CnC_Volcano.JPG it will be caps sencitive so be careful with that.

i also plan in the future to have a feature to log the commands it takes, so you can watch old games or post what a n00b was doing and othe people can watch it. if that fails i will impliment a feature to make a video of the game.

ok, will you intergrate it into BR, or even make it a stand alone app (like wolspy)?

I think creating it as a standalone app, whould be the most useful idea (like the old renhawk), then if people wanted, they could intergrate it themselves into bots, or something like that Thumbs Up

ok, first of all...im not making a stand alone app...ill let someone else do that.

im makeing the app you download as a client so it connects to your FDS through the SBot or some other means and get the data that way. it is alot easier than making the whole thing stand alone.

the mean reason for this is because if a bot/regulater need gamelog, it can use it.

but i may just put it in scripts.dll

"the mean reason for this is because if a bot/regulater need gamelog, it can use it." I don't get your point here, if they need it they can use it, regardless of whether you use it too...
