Abstain. I don't tend to keep up with who's pissing who off at any given time. ACK has been the community's most controversial member for years now, but I've never been close enough to any of the flame wars to really have an opinion either way (or even to know who started what, for that matter). And, honestly, I just don't give enough of a shit to go reading through however many dozens of pages of people bitching at each other to find the who's and the how's of why this all started.

you know what, flame me all you want but, personally, i dont see ACK as being an overly bad guy, sure a few quirks, but who doesnt have em, his are just a bit more..... obvious, than others'. i know for a fact at least a few ppl are gonna flip out, but you know what, i dont give a damn. Big Ups so what, he told a lie or two, made a few mistakes, no one is perfect. i vote NO Exclamation

EDIT: BTW, just for you peeps wonderin, my vote made it 50%/50%

I voted no for a few reasons:

1. Crimson sheltered him when she liked him, and now she is offering to ban him, which makes me want to see ACK stay just so Crimson doesn't get what she wants both times.
2. I can't think of anything ACK has done that at least 1 other person hasn't. Why single him out directly?
3. I can always add him to my ignore list again if he remains a member.

Yea i voted no as well, i could care less about blogs and that jazz for i don't read them anyways. Aside from that he is a vital part to the community as a whole and just banning him for his attitude shouldn't be done. He has been around since the birth of renegade and basically this forum even. He has supplied alot of help, reguardless of his way of speaking his mind always.

I think he has every right to stay, i am another that comes here for that edge, we have alot of different personalities here, and thats what makes it enjoyable. Either way i am not at any level to make the decision, so i guess i will sit back down : Whats That

I voted no. Aircraftkiller did flame me the few times I did actually play with him and that would have been a long time ago, except, I didn't give a shit. There have been a LOT of people that's talked shit, and I still don't give a shit what they say. As far as I know, he's only truly bad-mouthed mod-makers and I'd have to say a lot of it would have merit to saying the work is bad. When you have "ultra aow" where you get massive loads of points, you easily get 1000 dollar characters and can afford anything you want at any given time. You change the game to make it easier for people, when it's already pretty damn easy. Or stupid mods like having all the characters have shotguns. It's just stupid. I'm not going to say all of his attacks had merit, but some did, and in some of the cases the people modding don't only did it on their spare time. So if his opinion means so little, ignore his posts if you're a modder, and let that be the end of it.

I still find it ironic that the reason ack would be banned, is not because he flamed, but the fact that instead of discrediting spoony, he told the truth, and that's what may/may not lead to him getting banned. Perhaps this all would have been avoided if it was just brought up right away.
