woot it is easy, just run the configuration (when installed) and then run restats. thats it.

Bring it back lol.

I want to know how to get Renstats to upload on my forum's, i would like to know how to set it up so it rest's it self every mounth and so it give's u medal's and stuff.

Also what does ftp. do?
Baseicly i want to know how to set the hole thing up from top to bottom.

the servers which do medals and reset every month don't use renstats afaik, but a different system entirely, which is usually not available to the public.

FTP = File Transfer(spelt that wrong) Protocol, Basicly It's a thing that hosts your website, and whats your forums URL?

That's bullshit. FTP does not host your website. It just allows
you to move files to a remote host.

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

Your website host sets up the FTP, They give you a login URL and a login Name and password for a FTP program, You can use global Scape FTP, But Smart FTP is alright Smile

After that, Read the Readme.txt RenStats comes with and make a new login for your FTP and make sure it only has access to a 1 folder, preferably a folder only for the ladder and walla, RenStats uploads a .html file! Very Happy

Ive never used Renstats, Ive downloaded it to test it out, But CloudyServ's ladder is awsome, FTP's it and all! Very Happy

As does BRenBot's ranks plugin... tbh I don't think many people still use RenStats, since all the bots have their own ranking systems available now... (at least CS and BR do, I assume NR has)

yup, i integrated NR into renstat - however its turnt out to be more troublesome than i expected, so im probably going to be codeing my own ladder lol

and for renstat...

just hit Install Renstat on NR, then hit Config - everything should be self explanitory, look in the bottom window for NR there should be the renstat documenttion there Smile

dont worry about setting output varibles ot NR etc, NR sets them automatically
