alright...i go to install renguard...& about 1/2 way thro the load process i get the error msg: An error(-5006 : 0x800700020) has occured during setup...how in the hell do i get rid if this...i get banned from servers cuz i CANNOT get renguard up & running

window's XP...but if i disbale my VirusScan (my version of anti-virus)i do just fine till it scans a file from the "renguard download" then i get kicked off renguard & banned from servers for them claiming i cheat (above average with sniper rifle, but not the best)

i could...but it takes like a 1/2 hr to go thro my comp (scanns entire comp non-stop) Huh

What anti-virus are you using? You could always try a different kind if it's giving you a lot of trouble. I know neither Norton nor Nod32 ever gave me any trouble with Renegade/RenGuard.

I use AntiVir. It's a freeware scanner and therefor not everybody would take a chance using it, but i'ts a very good AntiVirus program and has never failed me. I would recommend it to many people. Oh and it's won awards just like Ad-Aware SE antispyware and Zone Alarm firewall. All super products.

If your virus scanner is your problem with Renagurd, or thou think it is, try a new antivirus. You don't have to, like if you were very compfortable with what you have or are one of those scaredy cats afraid of change.
