You are very confused....

HTML is a markup language mainly used for creating webpages, it has nothing to do with downloading things....

HTTP is the standard method of downloading from websites, although if they offer an FTP site you can also download from there, although the speed would most likely be the same between HTTP and FTP downloads hosted on the same server.

And I have no idea what this VDos is your talking about... but if you want a different way to download things I suggest you tryout a bittorrent program.. I personally use Azuereus

Is there one file in particular your having trouble with?
