For some reason since installing Renguard my mouse wheel refuses to work in Renegade.
This is a pain in the ass switching weapons and sniping with regular keys.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

That's quite intresting, could you post a screenshot of how your key configration looks like? It should be in-game under options and configration

I had a problem with this. I never could fix it, except by circumstance when I had to reinstall. After that, it worked again.

Hmmmm did you also install the core patches? It could be that the keys-feature screwed that?

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Read complete instructions before you start.
Uninstall the mouse hardware and reboot. In Win XP go to control panel > system > in system properties go to hardware tab > device manager > mice and other pointing devices. Right click and select uninstall > ok > yes to reboot. Windows should start the device manager on boot up and reload the drivers from service pack 2.
If not, then you're screwed. No, make a restore point first, then uninstall the drivers. If you installed any drivers after installing SP2 you can simply roll back the drivers. Use the same path as above to mice and other pointing devices. Right click and choose roll back drivers.
If you use GNU/Linux, disregard everything you see here.

Also, before you begin set the msconfig settings to normal start up. Win key + R > msconfig > ok

If nothing works, just use the Enter button. Blush Hope that helps.
