Does anyone know where a step by step guide to making a renegade server might be? Im pretty sure i have all the files, just one problem, when i run the renguard SSC it opens a black screen sits for 10 seconds, flashes writing then closes. Im pretty sure thats not supposed to happen. Can anyone help me?

instead of trying to run the ssc on its own, why not install BRenBot (www.brenbot.com) which comes with renguard built in.

Alternativly you could try NR, afaik that also has renguard support

www.NightRegulator.co.uk, and dont bother with the SSC, it only has full RG and is exetremely limited to how it can run
