Trouble.. HELP!
I installed Cedega, and installed Renegade on it. Works fine. However, when I start RenGuard though Wine or Cedega, it just crashes. Sigh. So much for playing Renegade on linux.. (I dont even have windows anymore here installed)..
Guess I have to write my own little renguard client for linux then.. *sigh*

/me whips out DepWalker and runs it on the RG client
RG requires NTDLL.dll, KERNEL32.dll, USER32.dll, SHELL32.dll, GDI32.dll, ADVAPI32.dll, RPCRT4.dll, MSVCRT.dll, SHLWAPI.dll, WS2_32.dll, and WS2HELP.dll (then I get access violations galore, is that RG objecting to DepWalker's presence?)

It's more of a case of mac's been gone a long time and I don't think he remembered that 1.03 doesn't work on Linux.

That's why is irritates me when ever somebody says that everyvody should run Renguard, and that there is no reason or no escuse they don't. I have told many people that Renguard doesn't work for everybody but not many people have listend.

You forget that only a select few play Renegade on Linux, so there isn't a desperate need for a Linux RenGuard.

RenGuard is too tied into Windows to actually run under Wine, but renegade runs fine.
Just my way of saying that I am trying to get renegade + stuff running, so I can play! (.. which I have not for over 6 months)
