At least 1 person posted on this forum about problems logging into gamespy arcade, with a message coming up saying they have a bad installation. I too had this problem...till I found this:

Why didn't I think of this before? The solution to fix one of your messed up profiles you can't log in to is to delete the folder in Gamespy Arcade/Profiles which corresponds to your profile, and enter the information again on the login wizard.
