Keyconfig problem [message #191068]

Ok, ever since i got cp2 installed. I go into a server, and i keep getting messages like

"There is no vote in progress"
or
"Mine limit is 30"
or
"You must be in a vehical to use this command"
and some other things like that.

I just realized why this is happening. I adjusted my controls a wile ago, and made them over on the right side of the keyboard.

Turns out that the Keycfg.exe uses the same buttons for things like "vote yes" and "!bl" And I don't know where to move their new spot to. Is there a way to make those keys do nothing? I already had to move the taunts from the numpad to the F keys.

Open the keys.cfg file (it's in your Renegade\data folder) with notepad, and remove all the keys you don't want, or just remove everything. I kept the C4 status and the bind & lock keys in there though, they're really handy.

Deleting the file probably should work too, but i cant be stuffed checking if that works. Razz
