I got an error message while trying to install CP2...I can still play Ren with CP1 but CP2 will not download correctly while this error occurs. Since I can still play ren it isn't urgent but I am curious.

I spoke to Silent_Kane and he said:

I have somewhat the same problem. But my RenGuard keeps finding an error and telling to download the corrupt files(maps). I have, and it keeps finding an error in the C&C_FieldTS.mix file I download. Heres a screenshot of it:

I've downloaded and extracted the C&C_FieldTS file several times, and it won't download CP1.

Help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I think I know what the problem is. The file C&C_FieldTS.zip file that RenGuard tells me to download is messed up, cuz XCC Mixer will not open it. It just gets an error and closes, but it opens every oher .MIX file in the Ren/Data dir. So if someone can upload or send me the C&C_FieldTS.mix file, I would appreciate it. Also, I think a RenGuard staff member should fix that file for download(Just a suggestion).

I'm having the same problem as kytten.I even tried downloading the original maps again incase they were coruppted.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Same here, it keeps telling me to reload the Fields TS map and the file it has is corrupted nd wont even extrat itself.

Aww Thanks...I was never really gone...I am on n00bstories irc alot. Just lost internet connection for a few weeks is all.

extract the maps to c:/westwood/renegade/data
and that will replace the other maps there is no auto extractor
