BrenBot trouble [message #190272]

ok, when i try to open my bot,it closes so fast i cant read the message lol.i took a screen shot and what i got from it was invalid argument in par.pl line 27. Huh

after 7 or 8 trys, it finally does open and seems to work fine.ive been over my brenbot.cfg and server.ini a number of times and it all matches up. i dont know where to find par.pl lol.
any help will be greatly appreciated

Open brenbot on cmd, that will stop it closing so you can see the full error, the 'par.pl' is part of the code in the bot

ok i tried opening it with cmd and it said the system cannot find the file brenbot.exe

replace the brenbot.exe with a new what? lol

ok i searched more through the web,and found this on some site about a brenbot fix..

dbl clicking on brenbot.exe, there is a lil problem with brenbot and winXP when brenbot will start and then close right away. just keep clicking over and over it will start after 10-30 times. If that is your problem you can right click on brenbot.exe, select properties and then compatibility, set it to win98 and it will start of the first time you dbl click on it.

it works fine now lol. weird Huh
