Well, basically on the Un-patched version of Renegade (Out of box) v1.002 I have noticed that EA, throughout time removed some items which could not be no longer found on 1.037

Such as the Multiplayer Skin Selection Screen:
OPTIONS > MULTIPLAY > SKIN SELECTION

Also in 1.002 I noticed some f8 command which are not in 1.037

There maybe more, this might only just be it they removed, but it would be good to see these added back to renegade in CP1

The console commands wouldn't be useful to you at all.
And the texture selection thing is also useless.

The Texture selection could be cool to see your skins you downloaded (or will it just show the textures within the always.dbs) ?

Brightness & Contrast could be useful, somehow Razz

Mouse steering was also removed, because there was a bug where it would not remember the option when you restart Renegade, and you would have to turn it on again each time Renegade was opened.
