On the note of our reception I've read several accounts about kids smiling @ forces as they come and sneering when they leave. One account talked about a boy who was saying things like 'Saddam is our leader', 'Saddam is good' as he produces a folded up picture of Saddam from inside his pants.

My point, kids are indoctrinated. They can not even begin to understand the situation especially considering their ability to get unbiased information ie something other than Saddams state run TV.

they also may be hedging their bets.
if they say only bush is good, if sadaam were to win(yeah right :rolleyes: ) they can be assured of slow death for supporting the us. on the other hand, they don't want to be seen as supporting sadaam for fear of being imprisoned by the us forces.
basically, we have to wait and see a few months after the war we will know which they really prefer.
