I have uploaded my personal copy of Game2.exe. It is modified with djlaptops no-cd fix. As no-cd patches are a grey area in legal terms, I must stress that this file is from me personally, and not a Blackhand-Studios release...in fact in all honesty they do not even know I am posting this Smile

Note that this is an English version Game.exe, so anyone with another language renegade should not try to use it.

Again, this is not an official Blackhand-Studios file, its just me trying to help you (and others with similar problems) out. I give my word that the file is virus-free and take full personal responsibility for its distribution, by all means virus scan it and do anything you would normally do to check out a file you download from the internet.

I never used a cd crack for renegade be4 because i was affraid (in the very beginning) i would be serial banned from WOL LOOOOL if they would find out i cracked it lol

So, after 2 years i can finally take out my Renegade CD-rom from the DVD-player and really use tis device as its supposed to be used Surprised

Haha...there was never anything to fear...WOL doesnt crc check your files (too bad because if it did it would help stop cheaters). I hate having to keep a CD in the drive for any game or app...I would much rather either have the data on my hard disk, or even in a virtual cd image. Faster access to the data, and dont have to mess around putting the CDs in and out Smile

as for me i use VirtualDrive Pro version 8
works like a charm on a lot of cd's
all C&C games
all most all of the EA GAMES ( the new ones are not covered yet)
its like having the orignal cd in the drive but not

i don't even bother to put or remove the CD... i just let it stay in there, or it's a waste of 30... seconds... and with that i could lose or win 1 point... i mean 30 seconds can be all or nothing, win / lose that's the question :rolleyes:

Dam, a year ago I made use of may last IDE device and installed a CD-ROM dedicated to my Renegade CD, I even bought a spare copy (good deal though) incase mine got lunched, lol

WW is dead, but Renegade lives on...

hi, i use the nocdcrack too, but my renguard is not working properly.

after installing renguard, it shows me that i cant join pure servers because of my skins (doesn`t matter)

but when i join in ase, renguard loads up (ver 1.0)
and i hit the renegade button.
the game is loading to the main menu (singlep,multip,options,.....)

thats all, no connecting to server Sad

how do i install this no cd patch

can i just put it over game.exe or game2.exe after installing renguard?

i got it working i had at first a message puth in the cd or something i pressed cancel and game just started instead of exited now i entered a server at gsa and it didn't ask any thing screw virtual shit (still will download it Very Happy

u messed up cause u updatet the game but used a older version nocd crack like tat u mess up every game ull try it on i didnt find on jet myself or wasent even able to make nocd crack for the updated version so use the cd or use a virtuall cd.

ps if somebody knows were to get nocd cracks for updated games send them please i got tones of webpages were u can get nocd cracks but non of them are for updated versions thx

my disk 1 cd (renegade) Snapped in MY disk drive is their anyway i can copy the file of my com onto a disk ? because i have been 2 about 10 shops but they dont have renegade in stock.

The installation files? I don't think so, it adds registry entries too...maybe you could get someone elses to copy or someone on the internet can send you all the files on his/her disk 1 which you can copy to disk. Can't guarantee that would work but it probably would.
