Be careful what you believe on the news, first off, they are civ's, they don't know much more about war then what the generals tell them. Second, they are only aloud to say what the generals to say. When you watch the news it is obvious they are not telling you every thing, so obvious because they are saying they are not telling you every thing. But to make up for it they have good reasons for not telling you every thing, they don't want to tell you what they are doing so that the Iraqi don't find out. They won't tell you what the Iraqi are doing so the Iraqi don't find out that they know what they are doing. That is how war works.
Its to late do discuss whether or not Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, the war has already started, and if we find out "Hey, we are sorry, we thought you acutely had those weapons," I don't think it will stop the war either, so as I said, it is useless to discuss either way, this war is still going to go on.
But I am not one to hinder free speech.

Your right it is a touch late to discuss wether or not he has them. We've been sure from 1991 that he has them.

Why wouldn't Iraqis fire their missiles? They are being invaded. The only weapons the Iraqis were not supposed to have are weapons of mass destruction and missiles that could reach Israel. The only "violation" was the al Samoud Missile which when tested WITHOUT THE WEIGHT OF A GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND WARHEAD exceeded its allowed range by 15 miles. Most of those were destroyed, however Iraq stopped the process when it became obvious that the US was going to invade no matter what.
Of course the Iraqis are going to shoot at the invading army with what they have left. Wouldn't you?

The video of one oil fire is getting a lot of play on all the mainstream media. I thought this war wasn't supposed to be about the oil, yet the media are treating this one video of an oil fire as a major development.
A development that seems to get far less attention is that even as Iraqi forces surrender at Umm Qasr, there is as yet not a single use of the dreaded Iraqi nukes, Iraqi chemical weapons, and Iraqi germs that we were told WERE the reason for this war and that the US knew Iraq had even though the UN inspectors could not find any.
And, I might add, so far there is no sign of the equally well-promoted legions of Iraqi terrorists that were supposed to be here in the US armed with the aforesaid dreaded Iraqi nukes, Iraqi chemical weapons, and Iraqi germs that we were told WERE the reason for this war and that the US knew Iraq had even though the UN inspectors could not find any.

The US' easy victory in Iraq is openly advertising to the world that Iraq was never really a threat, that Iraq had in fact disarmed, and that the US has simply invaded and conquered an oil nation for profit.

havocsnipe, don't forget the huge human rights violations he has committed. If you've forgotten, I have made you an appointment with Saddam's Minister of Rape at 1800 hours.
What you MUST remember is that the Democrats' goal is to make the President look bad. You are believing just what the Democrats want you to believe.
If there are a lot of civilian casualities, it's good for the Democrats.
If there are a lot of troops lost in combat, it's good for the Democrats. (Why do you think the helicopter crashes are getting such excessive coverage?)
The Democrats don't control (as in, have a majority of) ANY of the three branches of government right now, but since those who own the large media outlets are Democrats, they control the media and they can report the news to the world the way THEY want to. You might also notice that it's not easy to find information in the news about them firing back at us. Anything that justifies this war and makes the President look like he made the right decision has been conveniently omitted from mainstream media.
Next thing you hear will be that the only things we are hitting are orphanages full of children, churches, and nursing homes.
I'm the bawss.

So first you say if the inspectors found nothing there isn't anything, then you disagree with the almighty inspectors' findings. Great job contradicting your position.
There were other factors to consider in that test, such as missile trajectory increasing the range even further. Iraq just tried to hype up the part about the guidance system and warhead.
