I just received the following from Richard A at EA Tech Support:

Hello Christine,

This is a note to let you know that the Renegade FDS serial number server
is fixed. We can now email these to customers. However, there is not,
as of yet, a plan to mail out previously assigned Serial Numbers.
People at this point can still get them through the link but I do not
know how much longer this will last.

It works like a charm, I generated a dozen FDS keys this morning. Smile

To register additional Westwood Online usernames, run register.exe which is located in your Westwood\Internet folder. Remember there is a limit of four WOL usernames per e-mail address, so use Yahoo, Hotmail etc. for additional addresses.

Then visit http://renegadeserver.westwood.com/RenegadeFdsReg/index.jsp. It generally took 1 or 2 hours until the FDS reply arrived.

I just got my serial...too bad I don't need it.

cowmisfit, if you registered a new account and are getting that message, it's because you have to click the activation link that was sent when you registered your account. Then just retry the serial thing and it'll work.

The FDS serial can be used for any nickname, but you have to have a validated (through email validation), working nickname to get a serial.

Whenever I try to register a new nickname, it says my serial# is missing and I need to install the game. What's wrong? Could it be a problem with a no-cd crack? or RenGuard? Confused
