Hey guys,
i was wondering if any of you guys know how to edit the main menu words, like: "Mulitplayer Internet" "Single Player" "Options", etc.
ACK do you know how to do that? i saw it was changed on RenAlert.

all those "forms" are not used in game, but you can still try....
Best method is via strings editing in LevelEditor

any hex editor
Gmax with W3d importer tool
Resource Hacker
Commando Level Editor

splitting the image in Photoshop is pretty easy...
Step 1: make sure you image is, for testing purposes, 1024x1024 (usually best for it to be like this)
next, goto Canvas Size->
click on the upper right hand corner of the [ ] that is down below, change the size of the canvas to 512w 512h
Save As...
now hit CTRL+SHIFT+Z until your canvas grows back to 1024x1024, repeat the process for each corner.
(*note, 1024 was just a sample size, any size will do, as the texture is still mapped teh same, even 4 32x32 black squares work)

just irfanview, its the best view ever,
it loads images in 2 milliseconds, and it just lets you highlight the area you want cropped. its has the best options ever. i use it much more than photoshop
And of course, like everything its on my website
